The concept of circular economy provides a solution to the problem of finite resources. It redefines growth, by proposing to close the loop of the take-make-dispose concept of material consumption by keeping materials in use, designing out waste, and regenerating natural systems. The concept of circular economy is intricately related to sustainability, as one cannot happen without the other.
The aim of this panel discussion is to foster a dialogue on the need of moving towards a circular economy, and to sensitize the leaders of the future about sustainable development.
