Retailer is an event that would require participants to wear the hat of a salesperson and a marketer at the same time to sell 3 different types of products to their visitors at Vista – high value, medium value, low value. They would be required to form a marketing strategy to sell the products – Who to target? What value to propose?
Retailer Quiz (40 questions 25 mins) Saturday 15th – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Retail Sale (Top 20 teams) Saturday 15th – 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Teams will have to select a low, medium and high priced product from the list of 15 products, which will be provided at Wholesale Price (WSP)
The warehouse will provide the products and other essentials that might be used.
Stalls can be set up for sales at any location within the area that will be specified.
The price you sell at might determine your sales. Hence no product will be sold less than WSP.
Pitch Presentation (Top 5 teams) Sunday 16th – 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Teams will have to present their sales, margin and profit strategy. This can include any and every innovative Idea taken up for sales.
Detailed case description about Stage 2 will be shared 48 hours before the start of the competition.
