MaSh in association with Vista brings to you BrandMetrics, an online marketing competition. The 4 day competition comprises of 4 events involving different tasks centered on one marketing theme or the other. The event will test your creativity, team work and marketing skills with winning team coming out on top after 4 days of contest.

  • Event 1 Selfie-Welfie

    Date: Sep 18th

    Rules:The team needs to click selfies with the products/brands that you see around you on the theme “Disruptive Marketing“ i.e. products/brands you feel have disrupted the marketing space through new innovations or marketing techniques and prepare a collage depicting a story. If you are choosing a product then its brand needs to be mentioned.

  • Event 2 SO Meme

    Date: Sep 19th

    The teams will be provided with a list of themes, using which the participants need to come up with an original meme.

    The teams have an option to choose any meme generator.

  • Event 3 Tag It

    Date: Sep 20th

    A set of images (one every four hours) will be floated on the Facebook page. The teams have to come up with the wackiest taglines for each of the pictures.

  • Event 4 Haze Maze

    Date: Sep 21st

    The event is divided into two parts –

    1. A marketing themed puzzle will be floated at the beginning of the day.

    2. One or two riddles will be floated in the afternoon.

  • A team can have min two and max of three from same college. The team will be same for all the four events.
  • The team needs to click selfies with the products/brands that you see around you on the theme “Sharing is Caring”“ i.e. products/brands you feel have disrupted the marketing space through new innovations or marketing techniques and prepare a collage depicting a story. If you are choosing a product then its brand needs to be mentioned.
  • With the college the team also needs to mention (In comments, just 1-2 lines), how and in what way these brands have disrupted the marketing space.
  • Teams need to constantly be on the lookout for any clues that get posted on MASH fb Page throughout the event day.
  • The teams have an option to choose any software to generate the collage Entries should be posted in a given format (jpeg) as mentioned in the event specifications and have an appropriate hashtag, (one customized team tag, but final deliverables uploaded on the page need to be in jpeg format.

  • The winners of the event will be announced next morning and will be reflected on the leader board.

  • A team can have min two and max of three from same college. The team will be same for all the four events.
  • A set of images (one every four hour) will be floated on the Facebook page. The teams have to come up with the wackiest taglines for each of the pictures.
  • The teams need to submit their tagline entries in the comments section of the post.
  • A submission will be considered complete only if the taglines are posted for all the pictures.
  • Teams need to constantly be on lookout for any clues that get posted on MASH Page (https://www.facebook.com/mash.iimb/) throughout the event day.
  • Entries posted after the deadline will not be accepted.
  • The winners of the event will be announced next morning and will be reflected on the leader board.

Date: Sep 21st

  • A team can have min two and max of three from same college. The team will be same for all the four events.
  • The event is divided into two parts – 1. A marketing themed puzzle will be floated at the beginning of the day. One or two riddles will be floated in the afternoon.
  • The team needs to email the answers on the specified email id given in the post. Also a submission will be considered complete, if all the answers are submitted.
  • Teams need to constantly be on lookout for any clues that get posted on MASH Page throughout the event day.
  • Any answers posted in comments section will lead to disqualification.
  • Entries posted after the deadline will not be accepted.
  • The winners of the event will be announced next morning and will be reflected on the leader board.
  • The final toppers on the leader board will be adjudged the winners of Brand metrics Event. The judging criteria will be communicated layer on the Facebook page.
